Happy Father’s Day! A father anchors his family in faith. Let us honor the men who find strength in the Lord and shape our lives as believers. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song, I give thanks to him.” (Psalm 28:7) Men of God make a difference as they embrace faith with their families. Let us praise and celebrate the men in our church and community. We hope that you enjoy your potted plant created by the CABC kids.

Happy Mother’s Day! A family’s greatest treasure is a mother of faith. Let us honor and treasure our mothers for the influence they have had in shaping our lives as believers. The Bible says, “Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” (Proverbs 31:31) As we honor our mother’s on this particular day, let us also honor and praise all women of faith at Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church who have formed faith in our children’s lives. Happy Easter! The Bible says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3) As you celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, may your hearts be filled with love and joy.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! This St. Patrick’s Day let us reflect on the Trinity. The Bible says, “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” (2 Corinthians 13:14) St. Patrick used the three-leaved shamrock to explain how the Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit could exist as separate pieces of the same thing. As you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, let us share with others about how God shares his love for us.

This Valentine’s Day let us reflect on God’s love. The Bible says, “If we love another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us.” (1 John 4:12) God’s love is made perfect in us through our relationships with each other. As we celebrate Valentine’s Day with those we love , let us also share our love with everyone around us wherever we are. In this way, God’s love can shine through us and we can share His love with others.
